UNVEILING THE EP ‘TALES OF THE DESERT’ BY ELNUR HUSSEIN AND ETIBAR ASADLI

Acclaimed Azerbaijani musicians Elnur Hussein and Etibar Asadli are thrilled to announce the release of their collaborative EP, ‘Tales of the Desert’. This evocative collection, which includes three mesmerising tracks — Ey Sagi, Getme Getme, and Inanmaram — masterfully blends traditional Azerbaijani motifs with alternative electronic music, creating an immersive sonic experience.

‘Tales of the Desert’ transports listeners to the vast, tranquil expanse of the desert. Each composition evokes a meditative, calming atmosphere, akin to a lullaby carried by the desert winds, gently guiding the listener through the shifting sands and into a trance-like state.

The vocal performances by Elnur Hussein were born out of pure improvisation during a transcendent dialogue between the musicians and the infinite universe, adding a layer of spiritual depth and authenticity to the EP. The resulting soundscape is one that resonates deeply, touching the soul and inviting introspection.

"The process of creating this EP was deeply personal and spiritual for me," says Elnur Hussein. "The improvisational nature of the vocals allowed me to connect with the music on a profound level, as if I were having a dialogue with the universe itself. Each note, each word, is a reflection of that transcendent experience.” Etibar Asadli adds, "This project was an exploration of sound and emotion, a journey into the heart of the desert's mystery.
